Tara Mudalier, MMid
Ranier Valley Community Clinic, Clinical Director
"Process and Progress at Rainier Valley Community Clinic"
Tara's talk will center around b
eing your best true self, and growing that person as you doula others through transition; the work we do at RVCC and how we partner with doulas so every person is supported at their birth and in postpartum; “Self-examination” digging deep, and finding the purpose of why we do this work and is it aligning to who I am and what I’m actually accomplishing.

Tara is a native of Seattle, with roots from Hawaii and India.  Her parents taught her that birth should be family-centered, and promote feelings of safety and confidence.  As a midwife, she values those principles and values women as the ultimate decision makers about their care.
Tara graduated with her Masters of Science in Midwifery from Bastyr University. She served for 3 years on the Board of Directors for the Midwives Association of WA state, and is now an active member of the Pacific Islander Health Board.
Tara is a co-founder of the South Seattle Women’s Health Foundation and the current Clinical Director of the Rainier Valley Community Center.
